Full Job Description
Title: St. Louis Post-Dispatch 2025 Missouri statehouse reporting internship
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is seeking a college student or new graduate who is relentlessly curious, willing to learn and eager to develop their journalism career for our 19-week full-time paid Jefferson City reporting internship.
This person will work alongside the Post-Dispatch's award-winning statehouse reporters as we cover legislation, legislators, government, politics and the Capitol for readers in our diverse region of 2.8 million people. This person will cover breaking news and be encouraged to develop enterprise ideas.
We are looking for someone with fresh eyes for engaging stories, a track record of excellent work (school publications and websites included) and the willingness to be challenged in a fast-paced and digitally focused job.

The internship is 37.5 hours per week, Jan. 6 to May 17.
