As part of the Capital Markets division within Truist Securities, Inc., the Asset Securitization Group (ASG) provides structured debt capital solutions to clients of Truist Bank across a range of consumer, commercial and esoteric asset classes. The ABS Structuring team within ASG (i) partners with the originations team, syndicate desk and sales team to structure asset-backed securities (ABS) that are placed with institutional investors in the new issue market and (ii) partners with our ABS warehouse team to model asset-backed credit facilities for our clients. The ABS Structuring team works closely with our clients and rating agencies to optimize deal execution on opportunities where Truist Securities is engaged as the Structuring Agent. In addition to execution work on active mandates, the ABS Structuring team partners with the ASG Originations team to develop pitches and structures for new clients and/or new asset classes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Perform collateral analytics from loan tapes, analyze historical CNL performance, and derive base case loss assumptions using historical data for consumer, equipment, small business, and esoteric asset classes.
2. Use stratifications and other reporting tools to effectively convey pool characteristics, concentrations, distributions, and risks. Proactively determine missing, incomplete, and inaccurate information
3. Design, develop and use complex Excel spreadsheet cash flow models for ABS transactions, including structure proposals, rating agency stress scenarios, offering memoranda disclosures, investor runs and other bond analytics and calculations
4. Collaborate with ASG Originations, clients, rating agencies, attorneys, accountants, and others on all matters related to collateral characteristics, bond structuring and analysis
The annual base salary for this position is $160,000
Required Qualifications:

1. BA/BS degree
2. Licenses: Series 7, 79, and 63
3. 4 years of related work experience
4. Strong technical skills including financial analysis, modeling, presentation
5. Strong interpersonal skills which foster teamwork, trust and accountability
Preferred Qualifications
1. BA/BS degree, with with a math / quantitative finance or engineering focus (Master’s Degree a plus)
2. Microsoft Excel (including VBA macro language), INTEXcalc, CAS, Bloomberg
