Raba Kistner is seeking a detailed-oriented, dependable Accounting Student Intern to join our team in San Antonio,TX . The Accounting Intern will assist the accounts receivable, project accounting and accounts payable teams. The individual in this position will perform a variety of duties including journal entries, reconciliation, cash applications, report preparation and processing vendor invoices. Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for data entry and posting of general ledger journal entries
- Responsible for reconciliation of general ledger accounts assigned
- Responsible for the preparation, review and distribution of reports.
- Assist in cash application of client payments
- Assist in processing accounts payable
- Responsible for making sure that the office area is organized at all times.
- Understand, adhere, and participate in the Raba Kistner Health & Safety and BBS Programs, setting a good example of our safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Currently enrolled as a College or University student in good academic standing in Accounting, Finance, Business or closely related field. Must have taken basic accounting coursework at college/university level.
Good oral and written communications skills and ability to work in teams at different levels within the organization. Demonstrate ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks. Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Able to perform analytics and learn the accounting system and other software. Must be self-motivated with good attendance record and be able to work independently.
