Manages and coordinates the development, implementation, and monitoring of the asset plans to prepare for launch of a US brand or indication. Participates in the development of market development strategies, including a focus on screening and diagnosis of diseases, and leads the development of marketing tactics to meet business goals. Is recognized as an expert for the brand and/or indication and therefore, provides leadership, mentoring and guidance to others.

- This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates the market development strategy and all related launch readiness deliverables including tactical plans.
- Works closely with cross functional partners to influence appropriate Key Performance Indicators for all market development initiatives.
- Manages Boehringer's relationship and represents Boehringer's Point of View on key strategic priorities with both internal and external partners to ensure clear communication and aligned objectives with collaborations, partnerships, investments, initiatives, and corresponding tactics.
- Monitors/analyzes product and market performance, competitive intelligence, market research to identify key growth opportunities and challenges facing the brand so as to define actions/tactics to advance brand toward its strategic objectives.
- Coordinates with contractors/project managers and support cross functionally in department specific knowledge, process and skills including understanding the market, messaging, etc. This includes setting project expectations and providing regular feedback.
- Assists in the monitoring of product forecasts and brand expense budgets.
- Support annual business planning process as per schedule. Present to Senior Management as needed.
- Connects with Corporate Marketing to ensure alignment with Global IAP, Asset planning, and other market development activities.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required.
- MBA preferred.
- AD Level: Five-plus (5+) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or strategic marketing, including three (3) years of US pharmaceutical marketing or related pharma experience.
- Sr AD Level: Eight-plus (8+) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or strategic marketing, including five (5) years of US pharmaceutical marketing or related pharma experience.
- Experience working directly with digital partners to develop and execute initiatives strongly preferred (e.g. Google, third party media providers, social media community platforms, etc.).
- Experience in guiding and integrating digital analytics and driving metrics-based optimization strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budget and resources.
- Key contributor in development of marketing strategies that influence tactical implementation for brand teams.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization.
- History of successful performance.
- Demonstrates acceptable level of performance for all AD, Marketing competencies/capabilities and AAI Behaviors.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and database applications.
- Ability to travel (may include overnight travel).

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
