A global entertainment giant, partnered with Aquent, is seeking a driven and dynamic Associate Account Executive (AAE) to join their high-performing sales team. You’ll be at the forefront of advertising innovation, collaborating with major clients and agencies to develop cutting-edge campaigns across a diverse portfolio of media properties. As an AAE, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by forging strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding existing partnerships. You’ll work closely with Account Executives, acting as their right hand in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives. Your expertise in both multimedia and addressable advertising will be essential in crafting compelling proposals, securing client assets, and ensuring seamless campaign execution. This is a high-impact role where your contributions will directly influence the success of major advertising campaigns.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and nurture relationships with clients and agency investment/strategy teams.
  • Uncover client needs and translate them into sellable opportunities across various media platforms.
  • Serve as a key resource for Account Executives, providing insights into available inventory and recommending optimized solutions.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive presentations to clients, showcasing the value proposition of our media portfolio.
  • Prepare proposals and respond to RFPs with a high degree of professionalism and timeliness.
  • Manage client assets, secure mock-up approvals, and ensure smooth campaign implementation.
  • Track sales performance, compile reports, and monitor client status on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, research, operations) to support sales efforts and campaign execution.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging advertising technologies.
  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new clients (after one year in role, with supervisor approval).

Must-Haves:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in addressable ad sales.
  • Experience within Linear and/or Digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in media math and analysis.
  • Ability to manipulate data for analysis and presentation.
  • Proficient with Excel reporting.

  • Proven strategic thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable tactics.

  • Understanding of client priorities and performance goals.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $56.10 to $62.34 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
