Position: Certified Medical Assistant


Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical assisting and be able to support the delivery of exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Duties:

  • Provide medical assistance to patients in an inpatient and outpatient setting, including taking vital signs, diagnostic testing and preparing patients for exams.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms, obtaining medical histories, and administering injections.
  • Utilize anatomy and physiology knowledge to perform routine medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documenting medical histories and test results.
  • Function as a liaison between the medical team and patients, ensuring clear communication and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA).
  • Completion of a medical assisting program or associate's degree in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, including the ability to perform routine medical procedures and assist with surgeries.
  • Experience working in a Medical office (PCP)
  • Ability to take vital signs and input into EMR system.
  • Excellent communication, dependable transportation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and prioritize patient care and safety in high-pressure situations.

Pay: $15.47 - $16.08 per hour
