Our client is a leading provider of digital musculoskeletal (MSK) care, combining evidence-based practices with modern technology to deliver effective solutions to chronic pain and mobility challenges. We’re seeking an experienced SEO Health Content Editor to oversee the creation, editing, and management of high-quality content that drives traffic, engages consumers, and supports our health initiatives.

Starting Details:

  • Start Date: January 2025 (10 hours per week).
  • Parental Leave Fill-In: From approximately March through June 2025, the role will increase to 35 hours per week to cover for parental leave.
  • End Date: The position may continue with ~10 hours per week throughout 2025, with potential for additional hours.

This is a remote position and open to all US time zones.

Role Overview:
As the SEO Health Content Editor, you will lead the end-to-end content process, from assigning articles to freelance writers and clinicians to editing and optimizing content for SEO. You'll also coordinate medical reviews, create engaging health content, and manage content workflows using tools like Asana. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management, editorial skills, and a passion for creating impactful consumer health content.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Assignment: Assign articles to a team of freelance writers and clinicians (e.g., physical therapists, medical doctors) who contribute expert insights.
  • Content Editing: Edit and refine content from writers to ensure quality, consistency, alignment with the brand voice, and SEO best practices.
  • Medical Review Coordination: Manage the medical review process, liaising with clinicians and reviewers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Content Creation: Write high-quality, SEO-optimized articles on MSK pain, movement, and physical therapy to engage and inform our audience.
  • Project Management: Track content progress, manage deadlines, and streamline workflows using project management tools like Asana.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including writers, physical therapists, and internal teams, to deliver content efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years in consumer publishing or digital health content.
  • Writing and Editing: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong eye for detail and consistency.
  • SEO Expertise: Proven experience in SEO content creation and optimization.
  • Consumer Health Experience: A solid background in consumer health, enabling clear and accessible communication about complex topics.
  • Medical Review: Experience producing and editing content that requires medical review and clinical input.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in tools like Asana and other project management platforms to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly and collaborate efficiently using tools like Slack and Google Docs.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $23.25 to $25.28 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
