Lead team that serves private real estate developers and operators nationwide by delivering customized banking and capital markets solutions. Also responsible for growing the business, developing talent, and working with our various business partners.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Set the strategic direction for their Real Estate team. Implement and execute on strategies, financial performance metrics, and tactical plans for the business.
2. Attract, retain, and promote top talent, with a strong focus on diversity.
3. Engage regularly with clients and prospects to grow and deepen relationships.
4. Deliver on plan for revenue, PPNR, and profitability. Drive profitable growth through market planning and business development activities.
5. Build and maintain good working partnerships across Truist with the Commercial Community Bank, CIB, Grandbridge, Treasury, McGriff and others Integrated Relationship Management partners to ensure products/service offerings meet client needs. Demonstrate teamwork with geographic partners.
6. Promote sound risk management as the first line of defense by ensuring compliance with Bank policies for credit, underwriting, operational, regulatory, tax, legal procedures and policies.
7. Employ strong talent management practices around development, retention, recruiting, and hiring for all teammates. Promote a cohesive, inclusive culture aligned with the Truist purpose and values.
8. Represent Truist effectively through external engagement via industry association participation and other public events such as ribbon cutting events, speaking on panels, and interacting with various influential community members.
9. Regularly interface with internal partners including as Marketing, Ops, Risk, Human Resources, Compliance, IT, etc.
10. Stay informed on industry developments, trends and competitive data functioning as industry expert for the corporation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field, and specific knowledge/experience with supporting educational background, or equivalent education and related training
2. Ten years of related experience
3. Knowledge or experience in strategic planning/projects/process management

5. Strong analytical problem-solving skills
6. Effective interpersonal and communication skills
7. Effective marketing and sales leadership skills
8. Sales or sales management experience
