Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$27.280 - $34.100 - $40.920


The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant's years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.


What You Will Do
Serves as an information resource for SRN customers.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 Year experience in an advanced clerical capacity.


Preferred Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent


Essential Functions

  • Bid shift process
    New account requests.
    Bid Shift account issues troubleshooting.
    Management of the Quick Pay process.
    Creation and distribution of the bi-weekly Bid Shift payroll report.
    Processing of the Bid Shift interfaces as scheduled.
  • Confidentiality
    Maintain confidentiality in regard to records, files, conversations or other sources of confidential information. Projects Sharp HealthCare mission and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • General support
    Other projects as assigned by Manager.
  • Invoice processing
    Maintenance and oversight of the coding process for all Lawson approvals entered into One Staff daily for creating of reverse invoices and Finance reports.
    Research and resolution of all rejected shifts and atypical shift approvals in Lawson.
    Bi-weekly and ongoing Quality assurance checking identify and resolve shifts scheduled in One Staff but not paid and other reverse invoicing issues.
    Communication with and continuing education of registries and Sharp HealthCare unit staff and leadership regarding Registry Time Entry and reverse invoicing.
    Creation and distribution of reverse invoices for each vendor as scheduled from One Staff data, including adjustments from previous cycles.
    Creation of reverse invoices for A/P as scheduled.
    Processing of manual invoices and summary file.
  • Processing timecards and maintains scheduling system
    Daily reconciliation of SRN nursing float pool employee timecards to One Staff scheduling information. This includes research of discrepancies, communication with employees and leadership, and appropriate documentation of all changes.
  • Reports
    Compiling of data and creation of reports for entities as needed/scheduled.
    Compiling of data and creation of Cal Noc reports for Sharp Chula Vista, Sharp Memorial, Mary Birch, and Mesa Vista hospitals as needed/scheduled.
    Quality assurance checking of all reports with comparison of previous month and current data.
    Creation and maintenance of Traveler statistics and registry usage reports, for unit leadership and Finance. Creation of other reports as requested.
  • SRN databases
    One Staff employee database to reflect all changes made with Human Resources, to ensure consistent information with Lawson. This includes new hires, transfers, terminations, and name changes. Consistent QA checks to ensure accuracy of information.
    Maintenance of One Staff utilities, to include adding and changing work shift codes, opening and closing units, and other functions as needed.
    Maintenance of Reg2000 database, with ongoing QA.
    Ad hoc reports as requested.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of OneStaff, Bid Shift, Lawson, Access, Excel, Word programs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, politely, accurately and tactfully in front of small groups, via telephone and in writing.
  • Requires a typing speed of 40 WPM and grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
  • Possesses intermediate mathematical skills and problem solving skills.
