Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role involves working on a variety of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, ensuring they operate at peak performance.   Duties   * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including brake repair and hydraulic systems.   * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools.   * Conduct inspections on tractor-trailer units and heavy equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.   * Repair and replace defective parts, including suspensions and other critical components.   * Operate heavy equipment as needed for repairs or testing purposes.   * Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.   * Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.   Experience   * Proven experience in diesel mechanic roles or related automotive repair positions.   * Familiarity with Detroit engines and other major diesel engine brands is a plus.   * Strong understanding of hydraulics and heavy equipment operation.   * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.   * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.   * A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications in diesel mechanics are preferred.   Join our dedicated team where your skills will be valued, and contribute to keeping our fleet running smoothly!
