Are you an experienced marketer looking to be part of an innovative, dynamic, and growing organization? GSK’s US Anti-Infective brand Team is looking for a Director, Pipeline/Portfolio Marketing.
Director, Pipeline/Portfolio Marketing leads the marketing strategy and brand activation for the Anti-Infective pipeline assets to ensure successful launch and deliver on the brand aspirations. This includes developing an in-depth understanding of the US customer and market perspective for each pipeline asset to ensure successful commercialization and partnering with Global colleagues to develop robust marketing campaigns. In addition, you will help to evaluate external business opportunities, providing a holistic perspective based on knowledge of US market dynamics, current portfolio and future pipeline assets.

- Provide a single point of accountability, leadership and voice of US customers for late-stage Anti-Infective assets.
- Ensure adequate expert input and review of key commercial assessments of the future therapeutic landscape including deep insights into the patients, customer, marketplace, competitors and business drivers. Extrapolate this assessment into an understanding of how the patient, marketplace and customer needs may evolve over the next several years.
- Work closely with the US and global teams including Commercial, Medical, Finance, Insights & Analytics, Health Outcomes, and Business Development to ensure consistent strategic direction for pipeline assets.
- Develop short and long-term marketing plans and budget in line with global marketing strategies.
- Promote strategic framework to develop innovative business initiatives and practices and to explore and realize business opportunities.
- Deliver and execute strategic plans to achieve performance goals and objectives utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) as appropriate to meet business needs and improve performance.
- Build strong network across global brand team to facilitate partnership through the product launch.
- Partner with US Health Outcomes and Medical Affairs to develop clinical, health outcomes and/or economic evidence to support customer needs and initial brand value positioning
- Develop, utilize and apply techniques appropriate to marketing decision-making through marketing research, marketing intelligence and company information systems
- Build strong partnerships with the external agencies involved in developing and deploying marketing campaigns
- Ensure adherence to GSK International Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing while guaranteeing that codes are implemented appropriately

- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 plus years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing experience, including 1 year plus of US Marketing
- Leadership experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Marketing experiences should result in a demonstration of the following:
- A comprehensive understanding of advanced marketing concepts including market analysis, consumer behavior, branding, positioning, and strategic planning
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across a matrix environment and navigate without formal authority to deliver on business results
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and confidently defend informed recommendations
- Ability to lead through change and inspire agility/flexibility amongst team
- Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills
- Product launch experience
