The Director, Investor Relations is responsible for shaping our company’s narrative, managing relationships with investors and analysts, and ensuring effective communication of our financial performance and strategic initiatives. They contribute to the development of strategy and operating plans in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Treasurer and other leaders as appropriate.
You will serve as the primary liaison between FactSet and the investment community, including institutional investors, analysts and shareholders. You will act as a thought partner to the leadership team to effectively position the company with investors and priority stakeholders to enhance the company’s reputation and mitigate various risks. In addition, this executive will:
Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with Factset’s goals and objectives
Coordinate and lead quarterly earnings calls, investor presentations and financial analyst briefings
Prepare and review financial reports, press releases and other investor-related communications
Analyze market trends, competitor activities and investor sentiment to provide strategic insights to senior management
Collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Finance, Legal, Marketing and Internal Communications departments to ensure consistent messaging
Organize and facilitate investor meetings, conferences and roadshows
Monitor and report on stock performance, trading activities and shareholder composition
Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and other relevant financial requirements
Develop and maintain strong relationships of trust and respect with analysts and investors and respond to external requests for financial and strategic information in an accurate, appropriate, and timely manner
Collaborate on company decisions that will impact value for shareholders and/or affect the company’s reputation.
Lead IR staff selection, training and development, goals, performance, and compensation. Provide effective leadership for the investor relations team, including management and mentoring to assist employees to grow and develop in their careers.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors' degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field; MBA is a plus
12+ years of experience in investor relations or finance positions with prior experience in the financial services or technology sector
Outstanding financial and investment analysis skills, oral and written communication skills, and presentation ability, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to diverse audiences
Broad understanding of the investment landscape, as well as the strategic ability to create a compelling investment narrative for the company
Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and financial analysts
Strong understanding of financial data analysis and visualization techniques
Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques and data analytics
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Energetic self-starter that possesses excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and a strong work ethic
Efficient and resourceful team player and individual contributor
Ability to work a hybrid schedule from an office in NYC or Norwalk, CT

The Head of Investor Relations will play a critical role in enhancing our company's reputation in the financial markets and supporting our long-term growth objectives.
The budgeted amount range for this position in the State of Connecticut and NYC is $180,000 - $220,000
