Full Job Description
Our client in the wellness space is looking for a Director of Brand Marketing! This HYBRID, full-time role is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to play an integral part in leading the brand strategy for an established, well-known company who is evolving their brand and developing new products to bring to market.
The ideal Director of Brand Marketing is someone who has successfully built brands, established connections with new audiences, and strengthened relationships with existing customers in the past. This person has a strong leadership background, and is a true subject matter expert with an analytical, data-driven approach to brand marketing.
Director of Brand Marketing Requirements
- Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred
- 10 + years experience, 3 + years leadership experience
- Direct to consumer e-commerce and retail marketing experience
- Portfolio required
Director of Brand Marketing Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing multiple brands across the company portfolio
- Help define brand purpose and ensure consistency across all touch points and consumer experiences on all channels
- Lead brand activation plans including brand advertising, product campaigns, always-on marketing activities, brand partnerships, and extensions
- Lead the development of content strategies with internal teams and external agencies
- Manage a roadmap and calendar for omni-channel brand marketing campaigns and content tailored toward segmented audiences
- Manage external PR agency partnership and oversee public relations efforts
- Lead and brief all brand activities, working cross-functionally with Creative, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, and other internal stakeholders for campaign development and execution
- Lead strategic planning and oversight of brand marketing campaigns, serving as a key facilitator of integrated planning processes, collaboration, and alignment across company-wide and across the marketing team
- Partner with leadership team to develop KPIs and measurement planning and align strategies to goals
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify brand growth and differentiation opportunities
- Manage 1 direct report to start, determine team structure, and oversee recruiting efforts for future hires to build the team out over time
- Handle 1:1s, performance issues and other management related tasks.
