The New York office of McGuireWoods is seeking a candidate for a Counsel position to join its E-Discovery practice.
McGuireWoods’ Discovery Counsel Services group, which counsels clients on all aspect of the EDRM model from preservation to production and manages document reviews and technology assisted review, is seeking a litigation lawyer who has significant experience in discovery counseling to join the team. McGuireWoods Discovery Counsel services team is managed out of Charlotte, North Carolina and Richmond. The team is looking to expand by tapping into the New York market of lawyers to find an experienced lawyer to help the team.

Salary: $225,000 - $285,000
- Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience in a top 100 law firm setting.
- Lead end-to-end management of complex e-discovery matters, including preservation, collection, review, and production of documents; advise clients on legal hold implementation, scope of discovery, and strategic use of technology (e.g., Relativity and TAR) in litigation.
- Act as a key liaison across internal teams, clients, and vendors, ensuring project planning, budget alignment, and timely execution while contributing substantively to case strategy, witness interviews, and motion/deposition preparation.
- Excellent academic credentials and solid writing skills are required.
