Full Job Description
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Assist with EEW sector marketing and communications efforts
- Support team with the execution of a series of virtual roundtables for external clients and prospects in our community
- Assist with developing vignettes about our work
- Research industry leaders and happenings
- Research key global EEW-related conferences and share findings with team
- Assist with marketing of internal events and sector publications using Slack and LinkedIn
Team with EEW sector colleagues on business development activity, particularly for the U.S. market
- Assist in tracking global projects
- Assist with managing a new business development system and the data it both draws from and produces
- Extract, organize and perform analysis of data from publicly-available and subscription sources
- Conduct outreach to target markets and institutions
- Along with the Sector Manager, develop proposal for sustained, continued maintenance of an RFP tracker and mining system
- Analyze financial reports to present a macro view of trends in the sector’s business development
Assist with building the EEW team’s systems and operations
- Assist with cleaning data in our databases and providing other support to accelerate our pipeline
- Regularly maintain a tracker of the sector’s affiliates, making updates and performing analysis where needed to understand broader trends in affiliation
- Provide general back up for particularly busy teams
- Having an operations mind-set: the ability to tackle complex detail-burdened challenges in a structured, operational approach
- Contributing creative ideas to help shape our work as we expand our size, scope, and impact
- Knowing what the end-game goal is and creating a plan to get there
- Being able to handle more than you can handle
- Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the January to June 2025 co-op cycle
- Strong self-organization skills and acute attention to detail At least intermediate Excel skills
- At least some PowerPoint experience
- Some knowledge of (or interest in learning about) the EEW fields, particularly U.S. education, employment and/or workforce development, and public policy
- Experience in Slack preferred, but not required
- At least one year of college
