Responsibilities*
Support faculty and staff by providing technical skills and direct patient care in the pediatric cardiology EKG lab. Testing includes EKGs and Holter hook ups. The patient population consist primarily of pediatric patients with congenital heart defects as well as some adult congenital heart patients. Work with both outpatient and inpatient populations. Maintain accurate records and complete billing logs. Maintain accurate inventory and restock laboratories. Assist student volunteers in the labs.
Required Qualifications*
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in performing EKGs. Basic EKG interpretation knowledge.
Desired Qualifications*
Candidate must have the interpersonal skills and communication skill necessary to work on a multidisciplinary team. Excellent customer service skills. Particularly dealing with the pediatric population and their families are required attention to detail, the ability to effectively multitask and problem solve are essential skills.

Background Screening
