Job Title: Electrician I – III (2nd Shift)

What’s special about this job:
The Quincy Plant is responsible for the extraction and concentration of nutrients for our Nutrilite Brand. The Maintenance team is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility and manufacturing related equipment at the Quincy plant. The team is comprised of highly qualified Skilled Trades employees. As an Electrician on the team, your focus will be on performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing maintenance issues, performing repairs, and being involved with installations and adjustments for manufacturing and facility related equipment. You will spend approximately 70% of your time on manufacturing equipment and 30% on facilities equipment.
Shift Schedule: Weekly schedule of 36 hours, with optional 8-hour teams day Bi-Monthly to fulfill the 40-hour week
- Schedule Option 1: 4:00pm – 4:30am Monday thru Wednesday
- Schedule Option 2: 4:00pm – 4:30am Thursday thru Saturday
How you would contribute to the role:
In this role, you will report to the Group Leader of the Maintenance Department. You will have numerous responsibilities – from diagnosing malfunctions, to repairing equipment, to performing preventative maintenance and calibrations to finding root-cause solutions to problems. Ability to do light mechenical work including but not limited to, valve, pump, gearbox and conveyor belt replacements, belt and sheeve alignments, chain and sprocket replacements or repairs (the right candidate will be trained to perform the mechenical tasks). You will work with manufacturing assets, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and compressed air systems, as well as switchgear, transformers, distribution panels and controls, also alarm systems, HMI’s and wastewater monitoring instruments. This position will require flexibility for possible Monday through Saturday scheduling, with the department determining which days will comprise the work week based upon production and scheduling demands. This role may require scheduled and unscheduled overtime, with weekend and holiday on call rotations being a requirement of this role.
Required qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Journeyman Electrician’s license through the state of Washington (documented on the job training will be considered, expectation is to have or acquire a license)
- 5 years of experience performing maintenance work on production and facilities equipment
Skills to be successful in the role:
- Knowledge of PLCs and PLC control applications, Allen Bradly is a plus.
- Ability to perform both mechenical and electrical preventative maintenance, installations, diagnose and correct problems with conveyor systems, HVAC, pumping systems, hydraulic systems, compressed air systems and lighting systems.
- Experience with Extraction, Drying, Packaging and Processing equipment is a plus.
- Experience diagnosing issues with IT systems is a plus.
