Job title:
Co-Op Embedded SW Test Engineering - Bothell - May - August 2025

Your role:

• Working under the direction of a senior engineer, you will design, implement and execute automated tests for ultrasound system hardware modules.
• You will own the delivery of test software components developing requirements, the design approach and implementation, and feature validation.
• Development will be completed in a Windows environment with pattern-oriented C, and/or C++.

You're the right fit if:

• Enrolled in a BS/MS program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

• Knowledge of and/or experience with programming languages (e.g. C#, C++), design and coding

• Experience working with hardware and lab test equipment (Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc)

• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems

• Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, project managers, and clinical specialists

• Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $31.00-46.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
