Responsibilities:

• Surveys and Field Assessments: Conduct on-site inspections to assess and evaluate existing utility vaults and manholes to ensure their suitability for the underground distribution system. Capture photos from the UG distribution system.
• Design and Planning: Develop detailed engineering designs and layouts for underground distribution systems, including trenching, duct banks, conduit systems, and vault placement.
  Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams including construction, permitting, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that designs and installations meet local, state, and federal regulations, as well as safety and environmental guidelines.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, reporting to senior engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Material Selection: Specify appropriate materials for underground systems (e.g., cables, conduits, transformers), Vaults, handholes and etc.
  Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including schematics and field reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in underground electrical distribution design and fieldwork.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, or similar design software.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes safety regulations and utility standards.

Pay Range: $30/hr - $33/hr
