Position Summary
The Enterprise Risk Manager is a member of the Risk & Insurance team, reporting to the Assistant Director of Enterprise Risk Management. This position supports the MAC's enterprise risk management program, overseeing the risk register and working collaboratively with risk owners to assure accurate and up to date reporting to leadership. Furthermore, this position works closely with the Assistant Director and other Risk Management staff to oversee insurance policy renewals, liaise with brokers and adjusters in the event of a claim.

- Support the ERM program in establishing and achieving a vision for planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the Enterprise Risk Management program.
- Partner with business units to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor risk, including completing risk analyses and evaluating financing of risk.
- Partner with business units to perform root cause analysis of incidents as needed
- Monitor and analyze risks within and between the MAC's departments and business units and report on these risks to the Assistant Director Enterprise Risk Management and the Enterprise Risk Management Steering Committee and work proactively with these departments and business units to implement practices that meet the MAC's risk management policies and standards.
- Collaborate with other professionals across the organization to provide risk support, assessment, and mitigation.
- Ensure that the MAC's risk management policies, practices, and strategies align with the MAC's strategic priorities.
- Support and coordinate with the Assistant Director Enterprise Risk Management to collaborate with MAC leaders to articulate risk management goals and risk appetites across the organization.
- Staff the quarterly meetings of the Enterprise Risk Management Steering Committee
- Staff the ad hoc meetings of the Enterprise Risk Management Tactical Committee as needed
- Responsible for training risk owners regarding reporting obligations and methods
- Monitor trends in ERM at similarly situated organizations and recommend program enhancements
- Responsible for the implementation of ERM software and the change management required for smooth transition
- Responsible for annual insurance renewals assuring timely submissions.
- Act as the MACs primary point of contact for insurance claims; support departments with claims by acting as a liaison between the adjuster and department as appropriate
- Maintains a high level of visibility at the MAC

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in risk management with three or more years primarily focused on enterprise risk management.
- In lieu of a degree, 10 years of experience in risk management with three or more years primarily focused on enterprise risk management.
- Seven or more years of experience in risk management with three or more years primarily focused on enterprise risk management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills using word processing software, email and spreadsheets
- Strong training and facilitation skills
- Ability to commute between multiple work sites
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Possession of a valid driver's license
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Working knowledge of airport operations
- Knowledge of ERM reporting software
