WIN Waste Innovations is looking for an Equipment Operator who can perform duties relevant to all phases of Tipping Floor, Monofill and Ash Management Building operations (where applicable). They will monitor and direct refuse trucks to proper bays on Tipping Floor. Assist Crane Operator in implementation of good pit management. Ensure tipping floor is clear of obstacles and that traffic flows smoothly. Load metal trucks (where applicable). Safely and effectively operate heavy equipment in the course of daily operations. Must have the ability to correct safety and environmental hazards and reports them to supervision immediately. Safety is a must!



Education/Experience:


* Six months experience operating mobile equipment
* Mechanical abilities sufficient to perform equipment maintenance, minor repairs and general preventative maintenance
* Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management



Physical Demand:


* Handle tools, equipment, and fine motor skills.
* Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet.
* Move about all areas of the plant, including catwalks, deck grating, and uneven surfaces.
* Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception, corrected or otherwise.
* Operate a 1.5 inch fire hose operating at 125 PSI line pressure to the extent required to extinguish fire.
* Operate fire extinguishing equipment ranging from hand held extinguishers to 200 lbs. portable units.
* Access confined spaces and pressure vessels through standard 12" by 16" manways.



PPE Required:


* Negative pressure respirator.
* Positive pressure respirator.
* Self-contained breathing apparatus (steel or composite bottle).
* Rubber suit and gloves.
* Chemical resistant suit.
* Heat resistant outerwear.
* Flame resistant outerwear.
