Full Job Description
Chesapeake Public Works, Traffic Operations Division is seeking a driven, detailed oriented, and reliable individual to perform critical routine semi-skilled work related to the installation and repair of traffic signs and pavement markings such as in occupied roadways. The person selected for this position will also assist in emergency traffic related issues.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Driver's License required; Class B CDL required within 6 months of employment. Public Works offers a CDL program.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Installation of traffic signs
- Installation of roadway markings
- Lifting and loading of materials
- Record keeping
