This Program Director will manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute multiple quick reaction capability and transition to production efforts simultaneously as part of ongoing research programs. They will ensure achievement of financial, schedule, and technical performance objectives. They will support new business capture and development of financial plans for the company. They will be expected to model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.
The selected candidate will support programs with employees based out of Merrimack, NH, Burlington, MA, and Arlington, VA. This position requires a comprehensive interface with Operations, Engineering, Contracts, Subcontracts, Finance, Procurement, Quality, and Security functions within the company as well as with internal and external customers to ensure that the portfolio's financial, schedule and technical objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved. You will have a significant opportunity to work with leaders in these areas and in the technical business areas defining future technology transition.
This role will involve a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work. Although the role will take the form of a hybrid work format allowing some remote work, it will require in-person on-site work due to the classified nature of programs within the portfolio.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $169630 - $288370
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Key aspects of this role:
- Accountable for all aspects of project initiation, planning and execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, customer engagement, etc.) and ensuring integrated project team commitments are met.
- Responsible and accountable to the Business for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Makes decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit and cash flow.
- Leads in the creation of new business strategies and procedures for addressing government desire for rapid transition of prototype capability to production
- An understanding of life cycle management
- Knowledge of defense contract types
- Strong communication skills both internal and customer facing
- Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years work experience or Master's Degree with 10+ years experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP accesses
- Sustainment and/or production program management experience
- Strong Business Acumen and presence at the leadership level
- Strong Interpersonal and Leadership Skills - demonstrated experience being successful leading cross-functional teams and supervising individuals
- Highly tuned Interpersonal Skills -- skilled communicator who influences and shapes the behavior and performance of teams executing complex requirements
- Strong presentation and organizational skills
- Knowledge of externally reported Earned Value Management
- Technical knowledge and experience in FAST Labs technologies (RF, EO/IR, Autonomy, AI, Cyber, Microelectronics) is a major plus
