Position Highlights:
Diverse Responsibilities: This role encompasses a blend of patient care:
Schedule: Normal schedule with some on-call responsibilities.
50%: Outpatient clinic visits, where youll assess and manage patient care.
25%: Inpatient rounding with the MD, providing continuity of care for our hospitalized
patients.
25%: Assist in the operating room, gaining hands-on surgical experience.
Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients
Positive, caring relationships with staff and patients
Productivity in a complex environment
Education: Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program (BS required, MS preferred)
Job Requirements:
Experience: 0-1 year
Skills:
Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Good clinical judgment
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Eligible for licensure
CPR certification (AHA standards within 30 days of hire)
ACLS or BLS or CPR
PA or PA Osteopathic
PA Certified (NCCPA)
Act 34 clearance
