We are seeking undergraduate sophomore and junior students majoring in Public Policy, Government, History, Public Health, Political Science, or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role to be working on a nationwide team with 2 openings in Washington, DC for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
Analyze pending federal legislation and regulation and its impacts on the pharmaceutical industry and AZ.
Attend congressional hearings and summarize policy reports.
Assists with communications and marketing for employee engagements related to government affairs, such as engaging in recruitment for the AZ Political Action Committee.
Complete and present research project related to pharmaceutical public policy.
Position Requirements:
Undergraduate students working towards a degree in Public Policy, Government, History, Public Health, Political Science, or a related field. This role is for current students, and candidates must have an expected graduation date set after August 2025.
MS Office Suite experience with Excel and PowerPoint skills is required.
Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
Ability to report onsite to Washington, DC and the surrounding area 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
This role may have occasional offsite days to AZ's Wilmington, DE and/or Gaithersburg, MD; travel will be reimbursed in this case.
Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
