Job Title: Motion Graphic/ Explainer Video DesignerType: 6-month contract - Possible Extension
Location: 100% Remote
Daily Schedule: M-F Core CST Hours
Compensation: $28-31/hr. DOE

Designs and creates graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, print projects, websites and logos. Creates layout specifications and animation for electronic products. May use a variety of media to achieve artistic or decorative effects. Must have knowledge of the latest computer packages and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design. Responsible for archiving and retrieving artwork and electronic files. Manages projects to budget and schedule. Works well in a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, website designers and marketing specialists.
Job Description:
Seeking a motivated individual to create, maintain and curate animated explainer videos to support the client website, mobile app and digital/physical signage. You will be required to perform these duties with minimal oversight and effectively manage projects to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and brand standards.
- Creates engaging explainer videos with minimal oversight.
- Strong understanding of visual composition, color design and typography.
- Ability to create illustrations, graphics, or two/three-dimensional animation from conceptualization to the final product.
- Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional partners to bring engaging narratives to life through projects.
- Maintain high visual standards, and a strong attention to detail, client, audience, story, and context.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing and motion design work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to interact within a team environment effectively and professionally
- Experience working in a video production workflow
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion
- Approaches work with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency
- Ability to interpret complex ideas, both written and oral, into simplified visual graphics
- Adaptable to advancing technology and evolving software
Minimum Requirements:
