Description
The HR Coordinator will work closely with the HR team, Firm leaders, and team members to provide general HR support. This employee will partner with employees throughout all phases of the employee life cycle. The ideal candidate will be personable, self-motivated, and team-oriented with a desire to help shape culture.
- Serve as a first point of contact for general HR inquiries and route complex matters as appropriate
- Manage pre-employment screening process
- Manage new team member onboarding processes, including coordination of first day details, orientation and other employee experience activities
- Support offboarding process including separation meetings, materials and internal communication
- Maintain HR personnel files
- Manage business card and name tag ordering process
- Create and maintain employee and payroll data in the HRIS system
- Manage Employment Verifications
- Plan and coordinate annual onsite flu shot and wellness clinics
- Complete annual HR audits and support team in revisions if applicable
- Assist the HR team with total rewards administration, including employee insurance and retirement activities, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) process, PTO administration, etc.
- Support recruitment in career fair sign-ups, attendee scheduling and attendance when needed
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of HR initiatives, like MPS WELL, the Career Connection Program, Celebrating Years of Service, etc. as directed by the initiative owner.
- Prepare HR presentation materials and employee documents
- Document standard operating procedures for internal HR processes
- Maintain confidentiality
- Maintain compliance with local, state and federal reporting requirements
- Provide general HR support for HR team, Firm Leaders and team members
- Serve as back up for a broad range of HR processes
- Travel up to 20% as needed across MPS studio and office locations
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
