Full Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Support sales initiatives by maintaining and closing open quotes, following up on leads, coordinating customer satisfaction surveys, and completing company profile business surveys.

  • Maintain database, perform order audits, and follow up on open quotes by collaborating with outside sales, manufacturing reps, and direct customers.

  • Process requests for company information such as reps and certifications, as well as other information requested by customers or potential customers in a timely and positive professional manner.

  • Process new sales leads by communicating with our outside sales and manufacturing representatives.

  • Provide periodic status updates for open quotes, and analyze and share quote status data, providing recommend actions to win a higher percentage of quotes.

  • Analyze and present customer survey data with charts and graphs highlighting key business indicators.

YOU HAVE:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Ideally, 3+ years of sales support or customer service support working for a manufacturer or distributor

  • Advanced knowledge of customer service principles and practices, including those related to manufacturing processes and the environment.

  • Skill to use automated information systems to research, and analyze accumulated data, and to use that data to make recommendations for the individual customer's situation.

  • Ability to manage accounts with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Skills in using computer software including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce

  • Skill in identifying root causes of problems/issues by asking probing questions to aid in developing recommendations for resolution.

  • Demonstrated skill in leading multiple tasks/projects along with the ability to work in a fast paced team environment in a self-directed manner.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships, applying strong written and verbal communication skills, while working with people at all levels within and outside the organization.
