Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Global Manufacturing Science & Technology department located at our St. Joseph, MO facility. As an Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry while contributing to critical projects that drive process improvements and innovation.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Experiment Design and Execution: Conduct experiments and analyze data to optimize process performance.
- Process Modeling and Scale-Up: Develop models and conduct scale-up studies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting, research, and investigation support to ongoing MSAT Projects.
- Data Management: Collect, organize, and evaluate data from assigned activities.
- Communication: Effectively communicate activity efforts and outcomes to the MSAT team.
- Knowledge Sharing: Support the exchange of technical knowledge across global and local MSAT teams
Requirements
Requirements:
- Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
- Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
- Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).
- Major must be related to the field of internship.
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Academic Background: foundation in chemical engineering or a related field.
- Technical Project Experience: ability to work on technical projects, such as process design, optimization, or scale-up.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of unit operations and process equipment.
- Technical Aptitude: A strong aptitude for understanding and applying technical concepts.
- Attention to Detail: attention to detail in data analysis and process execution.
