Title: IT Delivery Lead
Location: Detroit, MI Hybrid (3 days onsite T,W,T)
Duration: 12 Months
Role Type: W2 contract engagement
Job Description:
* Experience in Networking, routers, network security, ServiceNow - - > (Networking/infrastructure exposure is helpful)
* Strong Project management background with planning, execution, closeout with big five focus of scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk/issue management and drive results.
* Manages all aspects of implementation as it relates to technical delivery including engaging resources, plan, schedule, budget, and status reporting.
* Partners with business and technology to drive solutions from design to deployment.
* Leads the delivery of projects across the IT portfolio, works with projects sponsors, process owners & business relationship manager to develop, deliver and productionize IT infrastructure, and implementations.
Description of Responsibilities
* Manage work through daily huddles and regular meetings - Project team huddle and status is owned by the DL (invite, agenda, participants and facilitation.) The DL is responsible for maintaining/tracking the progression of work (e.g. schedule, task list, action, reporting, etc.)
* The DL is responsible for ensuring all action items are captured and followed up on and closed. The DL is expected to escalate as necessary when they identify an issue/risk and are unable to resolve within context of huddle or if it has material impact on schedule, budget, etc.
* Communicate status to stakeholders - Project stakeholder communication is the responsibility of the DL. It is necessary that the DL keep the project sponsor (and BRM manager) informed with timely and regular communication. The minimum expectations are the project status report and a regular stakeholder meeting.
* Proven ability to manage risk by developing and executing mitigation plans
* Proven ability to identify, document and articulate the impact of changes processes, scope and other dimensions of project on budget, schedule and resources.
* Manage work through daily huddles and regular meetings Manages issues, risks, escalations, timelines, scope, resources, direct (assigned to project) and indirect (others impacted by project)
* Ensure timely delivery and maintain scope
* Communicate status to stakeholders
* Produce project metrics
Required Experience
* In-depth knowledge and experience with implementation of IT infrastructure, network, and related projects.
* Proven ability to identify, document and articulate the impact of changes to processes, scope and other dimensions of project on budget, schedule and resources.
* Proven ability to utilize IT tools such as servicenow, sharepoint (reporting level), power BI reporting, Visio, project management tools or similar tools and some Continuous improvement methodology experience .
* PMP Certification (desired but not necessary)
* Bachelor Degree in an IT-related discipline & 4-plus year experience as an IT project manager focusing on design and/or software development / infrastructure projects,
