About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Systems Architect. The Lead Systems Architect will design the target state architecture across Fraud Operations platforms and products. This position reports directly to the Head of Architecture for Operations. In this role, you will consult with both business and technology executives to help set technical direction, provide ongoing architectural support and direction for multiple technical efforts across several agile squads and work to develop an ever evolving target architecture for the Fraud business.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives that have companywide scope
  • Assist in the creation of architectural artifacts for key technology initiatives
  • Participate in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy
  • Identify medium to high architectural impact projects
  • Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions
  • Communicate the companywide Architecture strategy and direction to both management and systems related teams
  • Make decisions in the development and maintenance of architectures
  • Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
  • Ensure applications adhere to established Wells Fargo standards, policies, methodologies and industry best practices
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Proficient in architecting Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, designing and deploying scalable AI solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing business and IT infrastructure.
  • Drive efforts to ensure resiliency, fault tolerance, and performance of Fraud Operations Technology.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience creating strategy, architectural design and planning experience
  • 1+ years of architecting AI solutions, designing and deploying scalable AI solutions

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience in one or a combination of the following: systems, applications, or architecture planning
  • Knowledge and understanding of applications technology management role including managing applications development and support for multiple systems and business functions
  • Experience with a customer service mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience consulting, influencing and partnering with business executives, leadership, human resources partners and peers
  • Knowledge and understanding of centralized Operations
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)/Tanzu or other cloud computing technologies
  • Extensive technical skills and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of an entire line of business or infrastructure sub-domain

Salary:

$133,300-$237,100 (SF only)

$111,100-$197,500 (Charlotte and WestLake)

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule. (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
