Location: On site in the First Horizon Footprint.
Summary:
Responsible for developing, coordinating and executing the Licensed Platform strategy as part of the overall wealth program at First Horizon.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between the Wealth area and the Retail Bank in the areas of licensing, training, compensation, and sales development.
Conduct a variety of sales management activities, including group sales calls and in-person meetings, educational WebEx sessions, and e-mail and telephone communications with reps and Retail management.
Implement various ways to motivate the Licensed Platform population.
Coordinate all aspects of a new rep’s onboarding and training, including creation of educational material and job aides, facilitation of all new rep training, and follow-up with these reps and retail management to ensure success.
Preparation of various monthly and quarterly reports reflecting platform strategy, sales performance and rep participation.
Review and approve selected annuity trades based on dollar amount, client age, and overall suitability.
Handling sales tracking.
Assisting in resolution of client issues.
Quarterly monitoring and reporting on the bank’s portfolio of HELOC’s with Debt Cancellation coverage.
Requirements:
A positive, team oriented attitude is required. The ideal candidate must be able to educate and motivate the Licensed Platform population.
A thorough understanding of annuities, basic investment and life insurance products, as well as their application in a retail bank sales environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills are a necessity.
Some overnight travel required. Usually 2 to 3 nights per quarter.
Qualifications:
College degree and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the area of investments and insurance is preferred.
Retail banking experience would be extremely beneficial.
Licenses required: Life, Health, Series 6/63 or 7/63.
