We are seeking a motivated individual for our entry-level Maintenance 1 role. No prior experience is required, as we are dedicated to developing and teaching our employees. Ideal candidates will have mechanical experience and aptitude, along with a proactive approach to learning how machines work. We value technical skills and a willingness to work with tools, troubleshoot, and repair machinery. Safety is paramount, and we expect our employees to prioritize it in their daily tasks. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn and grow with us.
Crafting Excellence:Responsibilities:
- Interest in repairing plant machinery and
equipment. No experience necessary, but seeking eagerness to learn plant
maintenance
- Have basic mechanical skills.
- Have basic carpentry skills for repair and new
projects.
- An aptitude for trouble shooting.
- Have basic math skills and know how to use basic
tools to size up and evaluate tasks.
- Have a valid driver's license or ability to get
one within 30 days.
- Follow company safety policies and best practices
to ensure a secure work environment.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Learn and adhere to company policies and
procedures related to maintenance and safety.
- Be able to drive a forklift or willing to learn.
- Able to perform all duties assigned by supervision, including facility maintenance.

Key Qualifications
- Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
- Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in manufacturing, production, ceramics, or warehousing environment.
- Organizational and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Consistent attendance record and adherence to the attendance policy for Ann Sacks.
- Ability to communicate effectively for manufacturing production processes.
- Strong attention to detail; takes pride in their work
- Experience in a warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
Additional Requirements
- Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 30 pounds or more.
- Screening: Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and work performance.
