Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. NGC is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Oklahoma City, OK facility. You will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
• Performs handyman tasks and physical hands-on work including minor repairs, installations, hanging pictures and moving furniture and equipment
• Conducts daily routine and periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities: infrastructure machinery, and equipment
• Initiate and complete the daily Northrop Grumman Laboratory/ Facility Checklist
• Receives, document and store product/ material in the shipping/receiving area
• Relocate office furniture as required to include tear down and build-up as necessary
• Responsible in keeping all storage areas clean, organized and efficient
• Escort commercial workers performing facility repairs
• Occasionally support the receptionist front desk
• Uses hand and power tools
• Any other assignment as required in supporting the facility
Basic Qualification and Education:
• Must have a HS Degree or Diploma and at least 3 years experience as a maintenance technician
• Working knowledge of general building, HVAC, life safety systems and electrical codes relating to facilities operations
• Read and understand blueprints
• Basic MS Office knowledge
• Must be a US Citizen and have or be able to obtain a U. S. Department of Defense (DOD) Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Current Secret Clearance
• Excellent Communication Skills
Salary Range: $40,900 - $68,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
