WIN Waste Innovations is a waste management company committed to delivering essential waste management solutions to customers and communities supported by our team of 2,100 employees. WIN Waste Innovations is a vertically integrated business with a platform of 50 strategically located collection, transfer and disposal assets. These include waste-to-energy facilities, transfer stations, ash monofills, landfills, and fleets of rail cars and collection vehicles. We process more than 11 million tons of waste annually, converting 6.7 million tons of waste into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes. We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper, and metals from the waste stream.
Our WIN Waste Innovations facility is seeking a highly motivated Major Accounts Manager. This candidate must be willing to spend time in the field learning about our services on an operational level and will work to develop and obtain new businesses for our Company.
Responsibilities:
* Develops new business to meet company growth goals in an assigned territory
* Generates leads and develops new business opportunities through networking and cold calling
* Participates in industry related conferences, exhibitions, associations, and functions
* Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments
* Develops sales by making initial presentation and introducing new services
* Overcomes objections and finds solutions
* Utilizes Salesforce software to report sales activity to management on a weekly basis
* Complete all required sales reports in a thorough and timely fashion
* Perform other job-related duties, as required
Experience, Education, Certification:
Required:
* Required: Bachelor's degree
* Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in new business development
* Valid driver's license
