Overview
The Manager of Finance will support the company in financial reporting, cash management and risk management. This will entail preparing disclosure packages and financial statements, reporting and forecasting daily cash and investment positions, insurance coverage/maintenance, and various monthly financial close and review procedures.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare disclosure package reporting up to leadership.
- Prepare Trial Balance reporting.
- Prepare and maintain Cash Flow documents.
- Perform ad hoc financial reporting tasks.
Cash Management
- Work with various departments on cash management deliverables such as: bank data reconciliation, check issuance and verification.
- Evaluate and forecast daily cash position of company.
- Ensure new stores are properly setup with banking needs.
- Plan and forecast bank service charges.
- Perform cash and interest month end closing procedures.
- Prepare loan Borrowing Base reporting.
- Prepare and maintain Cash Position.
- Perform ad hoc cash management tasks.
Risk Management
- Play integral role in insurance renewals for all lines of coverage.
- Ensure new stores are properly added to relevant insurance policies.
- Provide support in the maintenance of store and vendor Certificates of Insurance.
- Process and track monthly insurance invoices to ensure proper payment and accruals.
- Act as liaise with Insurance brokers regarding claims for and against the company.
- Perform ad hoc Risk Management tasks.
Other Functions:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Managerial oversight for one Treasury Analyst to assist in cash and risk management functions.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
Required Knowledge:
- Principals and procedures of financial reporting, cash management, forecasting, accrual management, insurance claims
Experience Required:
- 3-5 years related experience.
Skill and Ability:
- Effective written and oral communication

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
