As a Senior Manager of Solutions Consulting at Genesys, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales success within the Commercial and Territory segment within North America by empowering, guiding and leading a high-performing team of Solution Consultants. You will provide technical leadership responsible for setting goals, executing strategy and coaching/development of directs, all while aligning with Genesys Sales Leadership in pursuit of pipeline and sales growth objectives.
Your acceptance will help Genesys drive the goal of assisting sales in North America to be as informed and self-sufficient as possible positioning Genesys Cloud products and solutions during the Pre-Sales Cycle. Enabling our account teams to provide compelling demos, facilitate security/architecture conversations, generate pipeline and increase the velocity of deal closure. The Solution Consultant role is imperative to the success of our sales opportunities, the manager will have a significant impact on their team’s growth and development at scale. You and the team will work directly with sales and many internal teams helping to tailor the Genesys messaging to address various business and technical stakeholders needs, including C-level decision-makers.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and empower a team of Solution Consultants, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance development.
- Align with the sales leadership team to develop and execute effective hands-on technical empowerment strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team optimizing processes, tools, and resources to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for our Pre-Sales team members.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Leadership team, providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and solution guidance by helping create reusable assets and workshops that accelerate pipeline and sales growth.
- Empower the team to craft and deliver technical workshops, demonstrations, and reusable artifacts for customers, Genesys Sales Executives and Solution Consultants using storytelling techniques to showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions.
- Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to provide data-driven feedback on product enhancements, identify market trends, and contribute to product roadmap development.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Provide the executive team with regular data-driven reporting and analysis on solutions consulting activities, metrics, and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field; advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in solutions consulting, technical sales, or related roles.
- Proven track record of leading or managing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of CCaaS, Customer Experience, & AI domains
- Effectively address variety of personnel and business topics among direct reports
- Excellent communication and data-driven storytelling skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to architect innovative data-driven solutions for customers.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across sales, product, and engineering teams.
- Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce reporting.
- Results-driven with a focus on enabling and scale successful sales and technical pre-sales teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies
Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$142,500.00 - $264,700.00Benefits:
