Manufacturing Supervisor - 3rd ShiftJob Description
The Manufacturing Supervisor will manage a team of Production Workers taking responsibility for the quality of the products produced, the production yield, and the timeliness of the deliveries.
This is a 3rd (night) shift position.
Your role:
- Leading a smaller group of direct reports (within the operations team)
- Preparing financial forecasts and annual operating plan
- Conducting appraisals
- Being responsible for the Continuous Improvement in the assigned sector
- Monitoring team and individual performance
- Optimizing manufacturing performance metrics like productivity, cost of non-Quality, equipment utilization and overall efficiency
- Ensuring operators are properly trained in processes used for completion of products/parts
- Ensuring operators are properly trained in Health & Safety related to processes, tools, equipment used in the completion of products/parts
- Ensuring work instructions and tools used re compliant with specifications and requirements
- Implementing Lean projects
- Implementing NPI
You're the right fit if:
You have acquired 5+ years of experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering/ Supply Chain leading role
Your skills include Ability to manage priorities under deadlines
You have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or comparable discipline
Proven performance management skills
You have the ability to conduct and to present analysis of production and process data to support improvements
You have the knowledge of Lean, value stream and process management to drive improvements and to solve complex
You are an effective communicator
You have working knowledge of environmental, health, safety and quality regulations.
