As a Support Technician, you are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the production areas and providing general support to the manufacturing team, including waste removal, stocking of supplies, pulling/collation of materials and assisting in other activities associated with production and distribution of our products.
When will you work?
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm (Must be able to train during the hours of 6:00 am – 2:30 pm for the first 3-4 months for training purposes.
What you’ll do:
- Provide support to colleagues during the cleaning process, changeover (e.g. clean Tablet Press parts, tooling, and room, etc.) and maintain cleanliness across the production areas.
- Complete and assist in daily, weekly, monthly and other non-routine cleaning.
- Retrieve and stage inventory, supplies, consumables and equipment for the production areas.
- Perform and complete assigned work within a reasonable time standard established by Wedgewood or your designated supervisor/manager.
- Train on and adhere to all safety and operating procedures and policies applicable to your role and complete any necessary paperwork in accordance with cGMP principles.
- Assist other operations team members in meeting production demands, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Support all facets of Wedgewood’s operations as necessary to ensure high quality customer service, safety, and effective workflow within the organization.
- Stock the production areas with all the necessary everyday essentials needed for production.
- Assist the washroom with daily tasks such as: restocking/cleaning equipment, trash disposal, etc.
- Perform breakdown and cleanup of equipment as required and trained.
- Report and make recommendations regarding equipment, facilities, supplies, required repairs, process concerns, safety concerns, and areas for improvement in quality, yield, and efficiency.
- Perform appropriate aseptic gowning.
