As a Materials Management Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the flow of materials within our aerospace operations. You will be responsible for analyzing inventory levels, monitoring supply chain performance, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our aerospace business and make a significant impact on our operations.
You will report directly to our Materials Management Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Tucson, AZ location.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze inventory levels and demand patterns to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory
- Monitor supplier performance and work closely with suppliers to resolve any issues or delays
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for materials planning and procurement
- Utilize data analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
- Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives

YOU MUST HAVE* 2+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain analysis
* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* APICS certification or equivalent
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
