As a Mechanical & Welding Production Technician, you will be responsible for
- Coordinating the work efforts to perform assembly of components per assembly drawings/bill of material
- Managing your time to ensure production deadlines are met
- Safe operation of industrial equipment (furnaces, ovens, lathes, welding power supplies, etc.)
- Ability to read, understand and adhere to manufacturing documentation (drawings, manufacturing procedures, standard operating procedures, etc.)
- Keeping a detailed record and documentation of manufacturing activities
- Producing products which conform to design and manufacturing specifications
- Communicating to request support, contribute to solutions or ensure timely completion of assigned work, among others.
Fuel you Passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have a strong mechanical background.
- Have a strong welding background in TIG Welds.
- Have experience welding aluminum or have the ability to learn and perform aluminum welding independently.
- Have experience reading drawings and B.O.M.s
- Have experience using hand and power tools, ovens/furnaces and other industrial equipment.
- Have great dexterity and attention to detail.
- Be willing to learn/train on manufacturing processes, spanning multiple product lines
- Possess a strong work ethic and self-motivated drive .
- Have a desire to work within manufacturing!
