Medical Assistant - Family Medicine

MUST:
Experienced Medical Assistant
1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
1+ years of experience working with specialty in Family Medicine, Women s Health, Pediatrics
1+ years of experience with healthcare insurance
Experience working with pandemic vaccine services
Must have computer proficiency
Attention to detail and excellent technical skills
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and patient base
Graduation from a formal medical assistant training program
Certification as medical assistant preferred
Fluency in Spanish highly preferred
DUTIES:
Provide excellent customer service to patients
Ensure accurate information is given to patients
Perform and document results of selected tests and measurements
Maintain adequate supplied workstations
Maintain a clean work environment
Promote timely and efficient patient flow
Responsible for the collection, processing, and recording of laboratory testing
Give immunizations and other injectable medications under the supervision of the physician, nurse practitioner or registered nurse; Provide essential pandemic vaccine services
Maintain current knowledge and clinical skills in accordance with job responsibilities
Assists with patient treatments during clinical sessions
Perform other duties as assigned
