Full Job Description
Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an MBSE Systems Engineer to develop system modeling and simulation (M&S) solutions throughout the organization, and to perform engineering analysis and provide results to inform strategic decisions for operations. The Engineer will focus on the design, development, and integration of M&S products for the program. The Engineer will work on a wide variety of challenges to develop solutions for all aspect of the current business.
Specific Tasks:
* Develop and maintain system modeling practices and methodologies.
* Design and develop system models. Prepare/validate data, perform and validate the modeling and analysis, effectively communicate findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
* Collaborate with Leadership to oversee identification of M&S efforts and provide input to help design, monitor, and improve new and existing systems using M&S.
* Support the development of overarching M&S and MBSE Strategy.
* Evaluate risks and needs impacting future M&S development and integration work.
* Manage projects to produce and update models/simulations on time.
* Stay current with industry trends and incorporate industry best practices into modeling methodologies as appropriate.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field
- 5 years of experience performing Model Based Systems Engineering in a government consulting environment
- Direct experience in Systems Engineering and SysML/UML modeling capabilities utilizing modeling tools such as Cameo
- Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, navigate at the expert level with System Modeling tools, and are familiar with developing Use Cases, Activity Models, and other SYSML models.
- Experience applying modeling to support a system's or SoS' requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle phases
- Experience Implementing a model-based culture, leveraging capabilities of the digital enterprise environment infrastructure of the organization
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale DoD systems engineering projects
- In-depth understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, MBSE, and best practices
- Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or another related engineering or computer science discipline
- Proficiency in systems monitoring, diagnostics and performance analysis tools
- Experience utilizing model data support to enable the creation of a digital thread across other engineering disciplines (e.g., cyber and safety).
- Knowledge/Experience supporting Navy SSP Strategic Weapons System
- INCOSE CSEP Certification
- OCSMP Certification
