The Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) Threat Modeling Center (TMC) at Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Modeling and Simulation Software Test Engineer at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.
The Threat Modeling Center is responsible for the development and delivery of high-fidelity threat modeling products in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the U.S. Missile Defense System (MDS). TMC is responsible for the development of threat missile models and simulations (M&S) used to stimulate hardware in MDS test events. The TMC Engineering Team is responsible for the design, development, integration, test, and deployment of multiple software suites to both internal and external users by employing Agile Software Development methodologies. TMC is a cornerstone element of SWDC, as part of the MDA Engineering Directorate Task Order.
This position requires a detail-oriented entry to mid-level engineer responsible for testing the threat missile modeling and simulation software. The candidate must have a good understanding of modeling and simulation methods and software testing processes. The selected individual must be able to work with little or no direct supervision, work as an integral member of a product delivery Agile Scrum team, and meet time-critical delivery schedules.
This role requires candidates to be onsite daily with no option for remote/hybrid work.
Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

• Development and execution of system-level and application-level test plans and reports
• Development and sustainment of the software test automation suite
• Assist Systems Engineering with defining threat missile modeling software requirements
• Understand stakeholder requirements and ensure quality software deliverables
Basic Qualifications for a Software Test Engineer: 

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 2 years of relevant experience, or 0 years' experience with a Maters' Degree.
• Familiarity with software development and testing methodologies
• Experience using modeling and simulation software
• Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating system environments
• Candidate must be detail-oriented, results-focused, and self-motivated
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment, and able to produce reliable products and documentation within established deadlines
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must already possess an active DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

• ASTQB Certification
• Working knowledge of Scrum Agile methodologies
• Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with scripting/automation languages such as Python, Bash
• Experience with test automation tool suites
• Familiarity with C++, C#, and Java software languages
