What You Will Be Doing
* Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, & Special Processes (tube bending, heat treat, paint, coatings, welding).
* Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
* Management oversight of salary and hourly employees.

Basic Qualifications:
-Production/Manufacturing leadership Experience

-Experience with budgets along with meeting schedule and cost deadlines
Desired Skills:
-Analytical ability to compile and use data to make informed decisions

-Experience with implementation of (TOC)Theory of Constraints and developing actions to drive results

-Experience with leading in a labor union environment

-Basic Project management skills to develop plans and stay on track to completing improvements with area of responsibility

-Experience in a metallic fabrication shop

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
