OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
The New Business Development Representative works with the MOM sales team to build relationships with current and prospective clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Follow up with customers for sales information and build relationships
- Outbound calling to set up appointments for sales representatives in specific territories
- Distribute leads to sales and keep track of leads
- Utilize strategic thinking and planning to assist the Sales and Service teams within the office
- Proactively take charge of office items that require completion and help out as needed
- Provide recommendations to current and new clients regarding services MOM can provide
- Assist Director of Business Development in updating CRM enter data into Salesforce
- Use formulas in Excel to complete analysis in Excel
- Import client information, leads, and analysis into Salesforce, E-automate and FM Audit as needed.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
NON-EXEMPT
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
TRAVEL
Travel is not expected for this position.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; college degree preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
- Able to navigate Gmail Calendar and Email required
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience is preferable, including a demonstrated track record of success in technical sales support and/or industry related experience.
- Proficient in CRM database tools is preferred.
