We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Designer to support our prestigious Financial Services client. In this remote role, you will be responsible for updating existing marketing and tax-related collateral with the client’s established brand look and feel. This is a heavy production role requiring meticulous attention to detail, adherence to brand guidelines and design templates, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Update two existing pieces of collateral (specifics to be provided) following the client’s brand style guide.
- Ensure all updated materials strictly adhere to the provided brand style guide – mainly copy driven content.
- Utilize provided design templates to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Accurately implement provided copy into the design layouts.
- Prepare final production-ready files for various outputs (digital and/or print, as required).
- Manage and organize design files effectively.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions based on client guidance (number of revisions will be defined by the client).
- Communicate effectively and proactively regarding project status and any potential roadblocks.
- Work independently and manage time effectively to meet the project deadline – due at the end of April.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience as a Production Designer, preferably within a corporate or agency environment.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign and the broader Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
- Strong understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and pre-press/digital production processes.
- Demonstrated ability to meticulously follow brand style guides and design templates.
- Experience with heavy production work and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must have your own computer and reliable internet access.
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience working within the Financial Services industry.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements within the financial sector.
- Understanding of Central Time Zone workflow.
Important Notes:
- The client will provide clear guidance on the number of allowable revisions to ensure an efficient workflow.
- A background check will be required prior to onboarding (no fingerprinting).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35.00 to $45.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
