Summary: Execute the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process within the Titleist Gear and Club Glove teams. Provide accurate and timely reports to leadership on product confirmation status for launch seasons. Collaborate with and support product managers, developers, designers and inventory planners as the subject matter expert on both the PLM process and the supporting systems. Add discipline and rigor to the process to ensure timely and accurate data delivery of the go-to-market plan for the businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting: Drive accountability of Titleist and Club Glove product launches through accurate reporting and direct involvement across Gear design/development/Product Management teams. Refine metrics to inform leadership on status and progress against Launch calendars. Publish metrics on a routine cadence to ensure transparency and visibility.
- Data Health: Ensure product-specific data and integration data is accurate in PLM platform (Centric) to support effective ERP item setup for all Titleist Gear, Club Glove and Apparel products and programs.
- Training: Collaborate, train and support Product Managers, Product Designers, and Product Developers on the PLM software to ensure their compliance and accuracy in product data. Catalogue PLM training documents to ensure faster onboarding of new team members.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Acushnet centralized PLM team to identify opportunity areas for improvement within PLM software. Continuously review external-to-PLM processes to migrate into PLM. Champion the Gear businesses enhancements to ensure timely delivery for improvements to the software and systems to support launches. Support testing and launch of new features/processes in coordination with central PLM team.
- Drive key projects, including adding Titleist Apparel to PLM, enabling custom product data tracking within PLM (logos, personalization, sizing, location, etc), and streamlining PLM integration to SAP.
- Oversee PLM Workflow process in support of Titleist and Club Glove seasonal launches. Ensure Workflow is used for all possible items, models, and colorways and that the process is working as designed, escalating issues to the Central PLM team.
- Escalate PLM system questions, issues, and errors to the centralized PLM team to ensure timely support for product managers, designers, and developers. Track requests and improvements and routinely report out statuses to the Product Management and Product Ops team.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree with a concentration in computer science, business administration or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a business systems including experience working with a PLM system (Centric preferred).
- Previous technical training experience and strong Ad-Hoc reporting experience with the knowledge of the logic behind it is required. Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel, Cognos 10 Report Studio and Workspace Advanced. Intermediate to Advanced skill set in Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint. Previous Golf, Customer Service, and/or Sales experience is preferred. Understanding of ERP/Item setup preferred.
- Able to sit for long periods of time and listen/talk on the telephone.
- Strong knowledge of PLM tools and ERP principles, practices, and procedures.
- Must possess exceptional technical skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new and emerging programs/software.
