Our client is seeking an individual contributor who collaborates with a cross-functional team of partners to develop integrated marketing strategies, campaigns, and communications that will help our participants make the most of their employer-sponsored retirement plan and work toward achieving financial wellness. This work may include tactical planning and development of multi-channel marketing campaigns and/or communications (programmatic and ad hoc) for participants and improving key participant experiences and communications that provide education and decision support. This work will be done in close collaboration and partnership with teammates from Workplace Participant Marketing, Product Owners, Technology and Production partners, compliance, and other business partners.
Experience:
- Leading programmatic marketing strategy, optimization, and continuous improvement
- Pivoting from writing strategy briefs and representing WFS Marketing with leadership, to submitting compliance reviews and overseeing tactical execution.
- Leading creative development and execution across all channels, managing production processes and quality control
- Running large projects with high levels of responsibility, working directly with our partners, and driving project schedules in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ensuring marketing risk management processes are in place
- Regularly communicating program progress and results to key stakeholders and partners
- Building relationships with an ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
- Self-leadership and working independently. Able to problem-solve and navigate ambiguity with ease.
- Thriving in cross-functional teams of diverse groups - product and client experience, agency, content strategists, data and analytics, marketers and others while maintaining significant connections across all parties to deliver results.
- Communicating clearly, authentically, and persuasively; able to captivate wide-ranging audiences through marketing presentations, effectively relaying information while also inspiring buy-in
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- A positive demeanor, sense of humor, and the flexibility to operate in an environment with deadlines and changing demands
- Minimum of 6 – 10+ years of integrated B:C marketing experience. B:B:C marketing experience is a plus.
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industry, specifically in retirement plan services and/or workplace benefits, strongly preferred
- Expertise in content marketing and building large-scale, programmatic multi-channel marketing strategies that are engaging, compelling, and drive action.
- Proficiency in all marketing channels, ability to develop integrated marketing plans that bring together a coordinated set of tactics that deepen engagement across the client lifecycle.
- Ability to shift from leading strategy to supervising and communicating details of execution.
- Expertise in designing personalized, data-driven engagement strategies using marketing automation tools; familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus
- Ability to see from the participants' perspective and connect every marketing tactic or communication to the bigger client experience and ecosystem.

- Data-curious and able to drive new thinking and hypotheses, synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, identify feasible options, and evaluate strategic trade-offs.
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar tools a plus
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field; MBA preferred
- Limited but occasional travel
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
