Full Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • You will complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and write reports and communicate the results to the teams.
  • You will also assist more senior engineers on testing related projects, consult and train others in your area of expertise, and help identify changes in protocols or equipment within the lab to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in test design, data collection, data analysis, and/or equipment design is required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skill with an ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audience required.
  • Experience with product and materials testing is required.
  • Experience with statistical analysis of data required
  • Basic knowledge of biomechanics and/or CAD would be a plus

Must Have:

  • 2+ of hands on experience with universal test machines for products

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38.02 to $42.25 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
